Undergraduate Women in Business was created to provide a community to women who want to grow professionally and to give access to the resources they need to be successful in their professional lives. Joined by five other founding members, the Undergraduate Women in Business organization was launched in the spring of 2017.UWIB aims to develop a pipeline for the women who come after us, to provide them with the skills, opportunities, and a network of other women, allowing them to not only grow but to thrive.We want to be the community where women on campus can voice their concerns, spark conversation and create a safe and welcoming place to do so, with the support of fellow undergraduate women.Through our events, speakers, workshops and facilitation of discussion, we hope to empower the undergraduate women of American University today and for years to come.
