AU Water SourceFrom start to bottom; Au Water's journey unremittingly encompasses the idea of purity. Our story begins in the highlands of the protected Mangrove Mountain region, located 50km north of Sydney, where drops of rain during precipitation fall onto the soil. The water then seeps through the porous deposits of the Hawkesbury sandstone, collecting its enriched minerals. It is here that our water then follows its natural channel to the aquifer. Water is then extracted through a well pipe and is ensuingly filtered to above Australian standards. Au Water is bottle right at the source – never being exposed to human contact right until the moment you open our clean, pure and smooth water. The aquifer which Au Water is sourced from is monitored by the heavily regulated NSW Office of Water (N.O.W.) and has been providing water for families across Sydney and Australia for over 30 years. N.O.W.'s regulations not only ensure our water is of its highest calibre for quality but also the aquifer's sustainability – always making sure to never extract more that the aquifer can regenerate. Au Water highly stresses the importance of this component of our business model because we strongly believe in being sustainable and manageable in the many years to come.
