Audit Conduct provides high quality virtual and self-study courses on accounting professional ethics and auditor independence that qualify for continuing professional education (CPE). Webinars can be customized and recorded for later viewing. Self-study courses are designed in either 50-minute (1 CPE credit) or 10-minute (0.2 CPE credit) modules and may also be tailored to a firm's specifications. Self-study courses are designed in Articulate Rise 360, a state-of-the-art, widely used e-learning software platform that provides a compelling user interface on all types of electronic devices – whether taken on a PC, tablet, or smartphone.Cathy Allen, CPA, the managing member of Audit Conduct, designs and delivers all of Audit Conduct's courses. She is a leading expert in the field of accounting professional ethics who has educated thousands of CPAs and other professionals about their ethical responsibilities, including auditor independence. Previously, as staff of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Cathy led the development of the Plain English Guide to Independence. As a consultant, she helped lead the project to restructure the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct. She was a Managing Director in PwC's U.S. Independence Office.Cathy served on the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) Board of Directors and was a member of the New York State Board for Public Accountancy. She currently serves on the AICPA's Professional Ethics Executive Committee.
