Aura is a collaborative innovation cluster for low carbon energy, with a focus on offshore wind. We bring together the Right People, at the Right Time and in the Right Place.Aura brings together partners including developers, manufacturers, universities, National Technical Centres and other organisations to support the continued development of the low carbon energy sector and to enhance the UK's international leadership position in offshore wind. Aura's mission of delivering low carbon innovation through collaboration fosters world-leading multidisciplinary innovation and research, combined with a deep understanding of the skills required to support the sector's development.Aura's mission is to identify and address key technical, operational and economic barriers facing the renewable energy sector acrossthe supply chain. As a coalition of partners, Aura is a collaborative initiative, a collective, a cooperative. It does not seek to duplicate work already being carried out by its partners and other organisations active in renewable energy. Its purpose is to act as a facilitator of activity – a catalyst for collaboration.
