Her knowledge and experience extends across domestic and international jurisdictions, asset classes, investor types, public and private products and multiple registration categories at both small, privately owned and large multinational public entities. Supriya is a subject matter expert in regulatory compliance, and has deep experience in corporate governance, risk, and conflicts management who is well respected and sought out by industry peers. Supriya has worked in regulatory compliance for approximately 20 years, the last 15 as a Chief Compliance Officer. During this time, Supriya has been privileged to work with highly regarded and recognized investment management professionals, thought leaders in legal, compliance, finance and operations and industry experts. In addition to the compliance roles she has held, she has: functioned as Chief Anti-Money Laundering Officer and Chief Privacy Officer; been a member of senior executive management teams; been a partner of a registered firm; been responsible for managing the Independent Review Committees (manager perspective) of several funds; and currently serves as a member of an Independent Review Committee, and Treasurer of 3-2-1 Empower Ltd ( a charitable organization helping women in India who are victims of exploitation and trafficking, to build a better life). Finally, Supriya is a member of several industry organizations, co-chairs the AIMA Legal and Finance Committee and chairs the PMAC Practices & Standards Committee, and is a sought out speaker at industry conferences.
