The Chamber is a not-for-profit organisation which aims to promote responsible bilateral trade and investment between Australia and Myanmar and closer economic ties between the two countries.The objectives of the Australia-Myanmar Chamber of Commerce is to:• Promote responsible bilateral trade and investment between Australia and Myanmar.• Foster and support sustainable economic development and industry growth in Myanmar through responsible trade and investment.• Promote and communicate investment opportunities in Myanmar to Australians.• Foster an understanding of culture and business practices to establish closer economic ties.• Promote and support legislative or other measures or policies to promote trade, commerce, export or import between Australia and Myanmar.• Support and encourage Myanmar's transition to an open market economy by promoting skill and knowledge
