Austin Cannon Productions, LLC is an independent production company that specializes in content development and talent acquisition. Our company is run by Dallas Austin and Linda Cannon and we are represented by the William Morris Endeavor Agency. Our newly-founded company has put two popular television shows on the air: Turner Broadcasting's "The Band" and ESPN's "The Battle." Our mission is to create and develop quality content for reality and scripted television shows and then sell that content to networks nationwide. Dallas Austin is renowned in music and film production circles. He was instrumental in getting the Georgia film tax credit passed and was the executive producer for the 2002 box office hit film "Drumline." He's written episodes for several television shows including "Glee," "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," and "The O.C." Despite his popularity in the film industry, Dallas is most notable for his clients as a record producer and songwriter. Past clients include Michael Jackson, Madonna, Carly Rae Jepsen, Pink, Gwen Stefani, and Lady Gaga. Linda Cannon has had more experience in the film and television industry. After earning her law degree, she started as a celebrity manager for Jerry Weintraub where she signed Muhammad Ali, Commodores, Anita Baker, and Natalie Cole. She worked with Reuben Cannon Associates, the first African-American casting company in Hollywood, and casted the blockbuster film, "The Color Purple."
