Austin Variety Show is an Austin-based LateNight/Comedy/Reality/Variety television show which features up-and-coming comedians, bands, offbeat performers, burlesque troupes, and audience participation games. Classic adult comedy, amazing local talent, and character-driven drama portray "the Austin Experience" for viewers interested in the magic of the self-proclaimed "Live Music Capital of the World".The Austin Variety Show debuted on local broadcast television on January 10, 2010 and can be seen in High Definition every Saturday at midnight on KBVO "MyAustinTV" on TWC ch. 1525, DirectTV ch. 51, Grande ch. 18 (HD318), AT&T ch. 7 (HD1007), & Suddenlink ch. 15 (HD115) in the Austin/Round Rock/San Marcos markets. The live broadcasts are also webcast each Saturday night.As of January 1, 2011, The Austin Variety Show has 13 episodes in broadcast rotation and is currently shooting additional live shows and reality concept wrappers, which will be broadcast on local television while national syndication is secured.The Austin Variety Show prominently features Austin-based and Austin-friendly businesses as sponsors and advertisers, further connecting new and old Austinites with the local business community.
