Australian Association of Campus Activities Details
Australasian Association of Campus Activities (AACA) is an organisation which aims to increase collaborations of tertiary campuses (Universities and TAFE's) across the country through National Campus programs. The programs aim to increase student engagement and offer opportunities which would otherwise be unachievable. AACA currently coordinates four strands of the National Campus Competitions including: Band, DJ, Art and Film. The organisation also coordinates an annual campus music tour named 'The First Degree' which travelled to 8 campuses Australia-wide in 2012. The Board has recently undergone a new branding strategy and aims to increase awareness of AACA within the campus and the external communities. Being a not-for-profit organisation, the Board of Directors is made up of a group of passionate events and marketing coordinators from across the country who volunteer their time with the goal to grow AACA through additional support from the community.
