The Australian Sports Professionals Association (ASPA) is an industry body for individuals who work in sport in Australia—all the way from administrators of small state/territory sports to CEOs and Board members of large national sports.ASPA has been designed to both compliment and go above and beyond existing forums and exhibitions, by providing:- networking events- training and education opportunities- knowledge sharing sessions- regular industry publications focusing on best practice and actionable case studies- mentoring opportunities- awards and recognition...for professionals of all levels within our industry.As professionals working in sport, there is a constant message wherever we go, after every conference we attend, whenever we get together:"Everyone in our industry is facing similar challenges. We need to make this easier for ourselves. We need a better, smarter way to connect to and learn from each other."Every conference we attend is full of talk, but so short on actionable steps. This needs to change, and the industry acknowledges we cannot do this alone.The Australian Sporting Professionals Association promises to bench the traditional echo chambers that have dominated our industry.
