Autism Community Alliance (ACA) was formed in 2021 with the intent to start a pilot day program for young adults the Summer of 2022. ACA seeks to:1) Partner with stakeholders (non-profit organizations, community organizations, health care providers, and government agencies) to share information and resources to improve the quality of life for individuals with autism.2) Advocate for increased funding and opportunities for autistic individuals with the local, state, and Federal government.3) Network and build a volunteer and mentoring program to support families and individuals impacted by autism.4) Seek stakeholder input and develop creative and appropriate recreational, vocational, and social activities designed to integrate individuals with autism in the community.5) Seek stakeholder input and develop innovative respite and personal care programs for individuals with autism.
