Autism Journey & Beyond began with just one mission, to enlighten the communities of color who had never been exposed to autism, a disorder which has for many, created havoc in their lives. Our goal has expanded since then, as we recognize that the families with autistic children are not the only ones who need support. One of our missions is to enrich the lives of children and young adults of color with autism, as well as other related disorders that place them at risk of failing academically, falling into the legal system, and succumbing to the barriers that may impede their success. Here, we know that our children are Kings and Queens that come from a vibrant community, and together we wish to offer them and their families the teaching opportunities and resources that every person in their position deserves.
