Avalon International School (AIS) is the first independent private school in Miskolc that is accredited by Cambridge Assessment International Education. The primary and nursery school opened its doors in September 2019 which creates a new, inspirational and modern learning environment for children between the age of 3 and 15 in about 5000 m2. From the age of 3 to 5 the children are part of our nursery EYFS nursery educational programme and from the age of 6 our pupils learn according to the Cambridge International's curriculum. The whole school building - with its stunning equipment - reflects the values represented by the school for modern and state of the art facilities which meet or exceed the technical requirements of 21st century education. AIS is committed to create a community, which is focused on individual learners, nurturing their gifts and talents, and helping them become responsible global citizens and internationally-minded young people. The applied methodology and pedagogy of Avalon International School prepare our students for life to be able to cope with tomorrow's world challenges and to shape a better future for them and the future generations.
