The Avartan Foundation is a non-profit organization aiming to promote the next generation of Indian Classical musicians. We reach our audience through our high caliber events hosting talented performers, our school with accomplished musicians offering their knowledge to students, and our outreach programs including lecturing in universities, providing access to arts education to underprivileged communities, and hosting performances at senior centers. We strive to encourage creativity and imagination through music reaching as many people as we can through performances, lectures, classes, and community service. Founded by Gaayatri Kaundinya, the organization has been running for 5 years now. What once started as a yearly music festival, it is now an international arts organization with artists from all over the globe involved in furthering the Avartan music community.
