av::Create is a design consultancy company founded by Michael Calder. The company specialises in writing specifications, drafting schematics and plans, writing tenders and budgetting for new build and upgrades to Performing Arts Centres, Conferencing Facilities, Meeting Rooms and General Purpose spaces.Additionally, av::Create can provide management and supervision of audio visual, including the generation of ITP's, comissioning specifications, tender documentation, functional descriptions and UI storyboarding and design.Michael has 10+ years of audio visual systems experience in the corporate, live events and theatrical arena, specialising in Video, Lighting and Control systems with a major focus on next generation converged AV network design.Michael has been responsible for the speciification and review of a number of event venues, including the conferencing technology in 7 new build hotels and a conference centre across the ANZPAC region.Michael has been a project manager for Australias largest Corporate Audio Visual company, operations manager for one of Western Australia's premier touring houses, lead technician on two of the largest cruise ships in the world and Technical Director at two of Australia's largest and busiest conference hotel venues.
