AVEA Victoria is the first and only self-designed virtual employment agency based on more than six years of research focusing on the market trends and issues found within the employment industry. It is also designed to offer a range of digital services that meet the needs of many. The key in introducing a virtual employment agency is to incorporate digitalised services into the employment industry as well as a somewhat ‘virtual link' conjoining many organisations into one resource and offering a system that allows many organisations, employers, businesses and agencies to work together. As well as online services, AVEA Victoria is also designed to be an on-site facility offering a ‘job seeker ready studio' incorporated into the employment agency offering services for registered and non-registered job seekers who are in the Government system, but also who are stand-alone job seekers outside of Centrelink and Job Active.
