What the club is:APC is a non-profit, community-based special interest group maintained by club members and volunteers. Membership consists of many different levels of interest from advanced photographers to beginners who have just picked up their first point and shoot camera. Some of the advanced professionals have their own studios. Club membership is opened to any military ID cardholder ages 10 and up as well as DoD sponsored civilians residing in the Aviano Air Base community and surrounding areas. The club holds meetings on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month 6pm at the Aviano Youth Center, located in Area 1.Currently, the club is maintained by a group of board members and committee members who vote and advocate for the club members. The club is not governed by any single authority but rather by votes and new ideas from its club members. Our Mission Statement:‘The mission of the Aviano Photo Club is to promote and enhance the art of photography through education, exhibitions, discussions, hands-on training, and field experiences.' Our vision:‘To assist our members in finding the resources they need to continue their photography interests while stationed at Aviano Air Base.'What the club is not:APC is not a for-profit business. The club does not profit from any photography services.
