Mechanical Or Industrial Engineering - Milton, North Carolina, United States
High above the farmland, she'd perform barrel rolls, hammerhead stalls and aerial acrobatics in her small plane, earning the moniker ‘The Pea Patch Pilot' in our part of North Carolina. It may sound unusual for a farm girl to become the Eastern Seaboard's youngest pilot, but as the daughter of a military airman, daring for the sky is just part of the family legacy. The Pea Patch Pilot also grew up with her mother's deep respect for earth, sky and the living creatures in between. While this led to a profession in health and wellness, from earning a doctorate in the Audiology field to sitting on the board of a therapy dog organization, this life-long passion in using science and nature to heal and lift spirits became a focus we now navigate by. Under the care of The Pea Patch Pilot and her own family of children and grandchildren, our farm only grows crops that are healthful for people and animals, in a way that cares for the soil for the next generation. Our hemp plants are grown as organically as our veggies and live in regularly tested soil (with a little classic rock playing in the distance) to ensure perfect conditions. And when it's time to leave home, our crops don't travel far. Everything we offer is grown and made within 100 miles of our farm, so every step is handled with care. With its golden color and silky consistency, our hemp extract oil became known locally as ‘liquid sunshine', and we can't help but think all the time in the air had a little bit to do with it. From our family to yours, we're proud to harvest the vitality of our North Carolina farm, with products worthy of five generations.
