Avici Software was created to deliver professional applications for business and educational users on emerging platforms. Initially our development will focus on the iPad but will be extended to other platforms as they become viable. Our applications are not your traditional mobile based applications, we will only be targeting devices that provide the resources and interfaces to be usable in business and educational settings. Avici employs the now famous iterative development process that Apple and other great companies use to create outstanding applications. This process is focused on delivering applications in a timely manner with incremental improvements based on a strong feedback loop with our users. We want to encourage each of you to participate in the process to help shape our applications into indispensable tools that you use to get things done. Along with many others in the technology industry, we see the human computer interaction shifting as we make a move to the interactive touch based interfaces that are now common on computing devices. This change is forcing developers to be more creative in how they design and build applications. It is also creating a deeper and more meaningful connection between a user and an application. We wanted to leverage our 15+ years of professional development experience into creating applications that take advantage of these emerging new interfaces. With the release of the iPad we feel we finally have a platform where meaningful applications can be developed.
