Australian Virtual Power (AVP) was established in early 2018 as a collaboration between experts in the Renewable Energy sector and Direct Marketing Industries. AVP plans to become SEANZA's largest virtual power plant and dedicated renewable energy retailer launching initially in the Australian marketplace.AVP will provide a groundbreaking proprietary peer to peer trading platform developed with blockchain technology for everyday consumers and businesses who have existing solar. By becoming an AVP customer and utilising AVP as their energy provider they will be able to battery store, virtually bank or on-sell their own generated renewable power over the AVP platform. This will enable a reduction in their power costs with "energy credits", or receive a financial gain per kilowatt for selling their "energy credits" over the peer to peer platform. This model will subsequently be extended to Southeast Asia and Pacific regions.
