Adrian W Borchok is the founder and owner of AWB Consulting Services. For over 20 years Adrian was employed by the corporate regulator, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, in a variety of roles which involved: - Leading major investigations into allegations of fraud, corporate misconduct, illegal investments scams and breaches of financial services laws - Preparing complex briefs of evidence, giving evidence in court proceedings and conducting thousands of interviews and examinations of witnesses and suspects - Ensuring the return of millions of dollars to impacted and aggrieved Australian consumers and investors negotiating major public outcomes including Enforceable Undertakings with licensed entities who have systemic risk and compliance deficiencies - Delivering organisational and cultural change to large licensed entities through the implementation of significant compliance initiatives including Enforceable Undertakings - Developing and delivering training programs focused on investigative practice, regulatory compliance, leadership, performance management and mentoring During his time with the corporate regulator he developed and cemented a reputation as someone whose primary focus was getting the job done whether it be expediting a complex investigation, turning âaroundâ a non performing team or getting a staff member to perform to their optimum potential. Adrian knows how to find solutions when the corporate regulator is dissatisfied with the compliance practices of an AFSL licensed entity and brings to the table a smorgasbord of experience when it comes to negotiating the best outcome for all parties. Adrian is legally qualified and has been admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales. He is intimately aware of what it requires to ensure the regulator is satisfied with the way you operate and is ready to help with all your investigative, management and compliance challenges.
