Awnings of America was created as a Texas Limited Liability Company (LLC) based in Buda, Texas. Awnings of America is privately owned by its principal operator. Jason W. Porter has over 15 years of diverse experience in architectural, structural, concrete forming, residential construction, surveying, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, security systems , project management, and management for both large/small engineering firms. He has designed power distribution, lighting, communication, security and fire protection systems for both newly constructed and renovated industrial, commercial, and institutional buildings. Jason W. Porter is also NICET and LEED Certified, and has an Associates of Applied Science degree in CADD. He is very knowledgable in the awning and shade structure business, with a strong influence in the design, fabrication and install side of the business.
