https://AWSCertified.Directory is a serverless website of verified AWS certified individuals that is developed using a multitude of AWS services.User's AWS certifications are 100% verified on the AWS Certified Directory by a method that begins with having the logged in user upload their AWS certification .pdf file. The uploaded .pdf is then converted to a .png by means of an S3 event so that the converted .png can be analyzed with rekognition.Rekognition will analyze the .png to retrieve the validation number from the AWS certification. The validation number is then programmatically verified through CertMetrics' website and the response of the request is cross-referenced with the logged in user's name to determine that the uploaded certification is 1.) valid and 2.) that the name on the AWS certification matches the name of the logged in user. The AWS certification validation number is also queried in our database to ensure that duplicate AWS certifications are not submitted. The AWS certified user along with a list of their AWS certifications and a link to their profile is then available to view in the AWS Certified Directory. Visitors can view the AWS Certified Directory and filter results by a user's name, location, or AWS certification. A pin of the AWS certified user is also available in Google Maps so visitors can see a visual representation on a map of how many AWS certified users are in a specific location.Expired AWS certifications are automatically removed from the directory by means of a TTL in a DynamoDB table. A stream is also configured in DynamoDB with an event trigger that invokes a Lambda function to automatically delete the certification file from S3 when it is automatically deleted from the DynamoDB table. Uploaded AWS certifications that are not validated are also automatically deleted from both DynamoDB and S3.As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
