* Works with coffee smallholder communities as they transition from subsistence farmers to thriving entrepreneurial ag-enterprises * Delivers a proven, viable and scalable model pathway out of poverty that is market based * Pragmatically supports the coffee industry's efforts to integrate smallholders into their supply chains through: a.) Making traceable smallholder coffees readily available to trade partners for distribution b.) Facilitating tailored solutions to bridge industry expectations and smallholder communities' realities c.) Implementing, managing and strengthening smallholder initiatives in the field Our vision is to leverage market forces to create a world in which millions of BoP coffee farmers are informed, empowered and connected -- becoming valued, and engaged supply-chain participants in turning the tide of poverty. We work in collaboration with industry, development agencies and social impact investors to leverage a holistic response to the rural poor worldwide, working together where the need is greatest, and developing opportunities to avoid duplication in the work of our members, convinced that the rural poor are better served as we combine our resources.
