Activ8 works with any existing accelerator system to enhance vulcanization and produces a pronounced effect on the curing reaction, delivering improvements to the cure kinetics and physical properties of the finished rubber article. It improves both physical and dynamic properties and production conditions, introducing energy savings and throughput increases, with no equipment or process changes.Activ8 was developed to achieve better efficiencies in rubber vulcanisation. It is designed to act like an ionic liquid for speedy reaction rates, and like a super solvent to dissolve the required chemicals during the vulcanisation process.
