aXis Healthcare Consulting is a non-profit organization that targets three core segments of healthcare. 1. Patient Throughput 2. Business Analytics 3. Costing and Pricing Strategies These three core competencies are the primary focus of aXis and will be approached with detailed data collection methodologies, robust analysis, rigorous quality circles and emerging production possibility frontier intelligence. The aXis endeavor and the core competencies were derived from opportunities created by the sweeping changes of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). As healthcare systems absorb primary and specialty private practices, patient throughput, retention, and satisfaction have taken new directions. Long wait times, promptness of test results, lack of instructional clarity, and diminishing face to face time between doctor and patient have yielded an overall decrease in patient satisfaction. In addition, Critically Integrated Network (CIN) funds available from Medicare and Medicaid eventually erode health system profitability.
