Ayaskala is an initiative taken up out of the growing concern around the lack of mental health awareness. We are a literary magazine, based in India, trying to build a community and a safe space for conversations about mental health and acceptance towards its existence. Our primary focus is to create and curate a variety of art and content, presenting our take on the multi-faceted nature of mental health purely through art-forms. We are trying to be present and supportive of each other, understand the importance and severity of mental health without invalidating or de-sensitizing it. Ayaskala is an attempt to create and maintain a safe space through art, because we believe that art can save the world.
