Azalea Drive Films is an Atlanta based production company that writes and produces narrative and documentary films, educational programming, and social impact content. Founder, Tamlin Hall, is an award-winning writer, director, and producer. After receiving his MFA in screenwriting from UCLA, Hall made his directorial debut, Holden On, a coming-of-age true story feature film about Hall's childhood friend, Holden Layfield. The film won awards across the country, including Best Director at the Breckenridge Film Festival and Orlando Film Festival. Filmed in Georgia, Holden On was shortlisted by the Georgia Film Critics Association for the Oglethorpe Award for Excellence in Georgia Cinema.Hall has won the prestigious Humanitas Prize for television writing and is a 2018-19 Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation film fellow. He has served as a Film & TV Dramatic Writing consultant for the Georgia Board of Regents/Georgia Film Academy, standards committee member for the Georgia Department of Education, and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the 501(c)3 nonprofit, IAHO. Hall is part-time screenwriting faculty at the University of Georgia and a writing instructor at Emory Continuing Education. Upcoming projects include producing and hosting the PBS series, Hope Givers, a feature documentary set in Sierra Leone, Africa, and co-writing the film adaptation of the #1 New York Times bestselling book, A Child Called "It", for the Emmy-winning, Oscar-nominated production company, For Good.
