Our interactive spaces came to live in the form of Makerspaces, which are collaborative spaces and programs in schools, libaries, private facilities that are designed for Making, Learning, Exploring, Playing and Sharing using high tech and design. We stimulate interest and practical application of STEAM from an early development age.We encourage critical thinking, collaboration and problem solving skills for African issues/ challenges using Tech & Design. We create platforms / programs that encourage innovation and building commercially viable solutions for African issues and challenges. The creation of Makerspaces is not only in higher income groups but previously disadvantage groups regardless of their current income status. This is to ensure that we promote the importance of technology as a whole amongst the Youth of South Africa.
