Aztek Technologies (1984) Ltd. was founded in 1984 by Joel Salzman and Akiva Tekuzener. The company was for many years a distributor of computer hardware, before focusing on the marketing of software products. In 2001, Aztek was appointed one of only four companies in Israel authorized by Microsoft to offer licensing solutions for its products to the institutional market. Today Aztek is the country's largest reseller of Microsoft products with a market share of more than 60% of Enterprise Agreements (licensing agreements with large institutional customers). The company is still owned by its founders.
