Back to Base Cultivation is a newly formed group made up of youths from secondary schools and tertiary schools in Madang and other provinces in the country with the combination of Pastors and Ministers and the church congregation of the Present Truth Ministries Papua New Guinea and its initial year begun in mid-2018. As the size of population increases the demand for commercial jobs grows higher than its opportunities. After careful consideration of all these issues, the young pupils were thereby made a pledge to start work escape the poverty. The first on job attempt was carried by few members in Newtown and Yabob soil. Which the group had planted Chinese cabbage about seven plots and built a poultry hut with chicks kept and sold, interim in 2017.This group was operating informally, and many people have joined recently. Currently, the group members are working to formalize the organization. The BBC as of today is planting over 300 vanilla stakes and a 100 hectares of mix cropping, piggeries, freshwater fish production and is looking forward to increasing the size of its work and production possibilities. The ownership of this organization is strictly for the church members of the Present Truth Ministries Papua New Guinea and the senior members of Sanctuary Movement Corporation Vision 21 who affiliated and constitutionally appointed into Board of Directors. Back to Base Cultivation has officially been incorporated as an association by the Registrar of Companies under section 7 of the Associations Incorporation Act of Papua New Guinea under number 5-106857 on August 9, 2019.
