For fourteen years, Bad Betty's was an icon in the Julian community. An Old-West bordellor look in the shop welcomed visitors and shoppers alike. Barbee, the "madam" of the establishment, was the true icon of the shop. She welcomed, teased, taunted and tutored those who came into Bad Betty's. She still misses the daily adventure of Bad Betty's. The shop was sold in 2005 and is now known as "Pistols and Petticoats". Bad Betty's now has an internet presence at badbettys.com and each and every one of you is invited to drop in and "see what makes Bad Betty so bad".
