BAFA (By Athletes For Athletes) is an NIL facilitation agency, focused on providing a pathway for stakeholders to directly compensate and work with college athletes.On July 1, 2021, the world of college sports seismically shifted when the NCAA began to allow athletes to profit off of their NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness). This decision was a result of years of litigation from athletes who argued it was illegal for the NCAA to prohibit them from making money off of their NIL. They argued that, since those same athletes' NIL value has enabled the NCAA to make billions in revenue, it was unjust for the athletes to not only be left out from that revenue, but further restricted to not even profit for themselves. In this new college sports landscape, among all of the confusion, we believe that the stakeholders (fans, business, boosters, etc) are the backbone of college athletics. Which is why we have put together a service that allows these stakeholders to directly compensate and interact with student athletes.
