According to a ranking of the best healthcare in the world 2021, Singapore ranks No.6 in the world out of over 200 countries. That is a great testament of Singapore's government and the healthcare workers. However, as a team of physiotherapists with working experience in both government and private hospitals, our founder Mr Michael Yan observed problems in the current healthcare practice.For someone with an established injury or disease, clear treatment methods and protocols are in place to take good care of them. However, for people who have chronic pain and discomforts or with multiple health issues, the complexity of issues often make them feel lost in understanding their root problems and how to get back on track with their health. Despite seeking help from various established healthcare practices, their pain and limitations are still persisting. Many of them end up feeling very depressed and thinking there's no hope in returning to normal life.Combining the best practices of both eastern and western medical approaches, our Founder and Clinical Director Mr Michael Yan formulated the Integrated Balance Approach, to systematically identify and address the root cause of pain. He strived hard to deliver excellent care for every client, and to help them finally not only be free of pain, but also knowing the best practice in their physical activities, so that they can excel at what they are passionate about. Several other physiotherapists who share the same vision and passion also joined him to grow Balance Core Physiotherapy Centre to how it is today.
