Ball n Kicka has been formed to provide guests to the country for the Fifa World Cup with backpacker accommodation. The country is desperately short of beds for the tournament and we intend to take advantage of that whilst offering a good service and showing visitors a true South African experience.Based on demand , complete lack of supply and astronomical rates charged by hotels and bed and breakfasts we have approached owners of properties that have been utilized in the past for student accommodation and are converting them into backpackers for the duration of the tournament. Even though our hostels are of a temporary nature they will be at an International standard and will facilitate every need that a tourist to the country may require.We aim to maximise this world cup opportunity whilst offering International tourists accommodation as well as additional facilities for the duration of their visit to South Africa. Other revenue streams will be generated through the sale of merchandise, alcohol and food . We also intend to offer our guests transport and several other services to make their trip to Johannesburg as pleasant and enjoyable as possible .We are looking to offer our clientele a world cup experience that they will never forget and memories that will last a lifetime. Our clients are expecting budget accommodation with atmosphere and facilities necessary to make their stay in our beautiful city as convenient as possible.This project is being managed by two qualified chartered accountants who are both well travelled and understand the needs of a backpacker. We are targeting travellers to South Africa for the Fifa World Cup. Our predominant age target range is between 18 – 35 . To date we have received orders from 51 countries- the most popular countries being Brazil, England, USA , Mexico and Argentina. We have also been approached by journalists, performers and by foreign travel agencies looking to put packages together.
