BAM's work originated from the creation of artworks and installations for the public realm, and over its 12-year history has evolved to be one of China's leading urban and landscape design firms. BAM's office has a background in ART and CRAFTSMANSHIP and integrates these skill sets into all phases of the design process.BAM works on a variety of types of landscapes, parks and plaza in the public realm but also large scale residential complexes and hotels. BAM continues to do installations as programmatic features for the large scale park projects.While the fields of architecture, art, and engineering receive an enormous amount of attention from designers and clients in China, BAM believes the urban landscape is not only more important but also largely un-designed. BAM focuses on all spaces outside of architecture to create exciting public spaces that integrate the idea of nature deep into our cities.
