Baltic Sea Gateway (BSG) operates the port of Gävle on a long term lease. We have five terminals that handles various cargo and we are in the final stages of completing our sixth. This new terminal will be ready in July 2015 and is intended for ship to shore container handling or for handling large dry bulk cargo vessels. The port of Gävle is located just north of the greater Stockholm region and in direct connection to Sweden's thriving industrial regions making the port a natural choice for importing and exporting. Sweden's two largest export products – wood and steel – are exported from Gävle to the rest of the world, and a major part of the raw materials and products essential for industry in the region arrives via the port.
