Bamboozle Theatre Company is a charity based in Leicester, and known throughout the UK for providing some of the country's most disabled children the opportunity to engage meaningfully with the world, and confound expectations of what disabled children can achieve. We use the power of theatre to transform the lives of children who have profound and multiple learning difficulties, and children on the Autistic Spectrum. Bamboozle takes high quality, interactive and immersive performances into theatre and special schools in order to reach, engage and entertain all children - whatever their ability. We provide creative and innovative learning experiences for children with special educational needs and share our pioneering methodology with teachers and educators through training courses and projects. Bamboozle produces captivating multi-sensory experiences for profoundly disabled children and their families, and find ways to engage those who seem hardest to reach. Recent feedback includes: "I watched four performances with 18 children that I know fairly well - I noticed each child connected with the performance... Several behaviours were surprising, and suggested new possibilities about the children. Each performance felt calm and warm and the children were received in a gentle environment...
