Leela is a Brazilian Rock group formed by Bianca Jhordão (vocals, guitar, theremin, maracas), Rodrigo Brandão (guitar and vocals), Tchago Kochenborger (bass and vocals) and PHD Ronzoni (drums).Their first self-titled album, released in 2004 by EMI, has the hits "Te Procuro", that was part of the soundtrack of Malhação (Brazilian's Rede Globo TV series), "Odeio Gostar", "Ver O Que Faço" and "Rádio Blá". They were granted the award of Best New Group on VMB 2005 from MTV and were nominated for the Latin America Grammy of 2005 for Best Brazilian Rock Album, "Meus Prêmios Nick" (from Nickelodeon), Faustão and Prêmio Multishow. They toured all over the country and also performed as an opening act for the Avril Lavigne's concerts in Brazil.In 2007, with the band members living in São Paulo, they recorded and released their second album, "Pequenas Caixas" (Arsenal/Universal Music). Besides the hit "Pequenas Caixas" on the track list goes with the colaborations of the beatnik-poet Fausto Fawcett on "1 Beijo Pede Bis", "Delirium", "Amor Barato" e "Mundo Visionário".In February 2011 a new videoclip is released. "Por Um Fio / Hey Babe" is directed by Rafael Barioni, Gustavo Chiappetta e Fabio Montanari and explores the lights of the hustle and bustle of São Paulo city while the band is playing in a very hot party.A new album is coming on May, 2011.
