We were formed in 2009 to address the aging dam infrastructure in Virginia and the surrounding states. Our services draw from all facets of the construction industry, but we apply those skills to the specific requirements of dam and marine construction. Bander Smith, INC. understands these challenges and meets them with an in-depth knowledge of the techniques, laws, regulations, and safety concerns related to work on dams. We have a skilled team of divers and confined space entry specialists that can assess, evaluate, and understand every component on a dam. We also have an array of ROVs, pipe crawlers, and cameras available to assist us with our inspections. If it is on a dam, we can fix it. We complete everything from chemical grout leak stop repairs to underwater valve replacements to primary spillway rehabilitations and sliplines.
