STUDIOBandiz is a creative studio based in Madrid, founded in 2010 by David Heofs. We develop projects in graphic design, photography and video for brands and institutions focused on culture, fashion and music. Our interest manifests through experimentation and intersection of these areas, while working composition and creating images for any audiovisual, digital or printed formats.We are a multidisciplinary team that elaborates every step of the projects assigned: from conceptualization to execution. This attitude allows us to work closely with our clients and helps us to keep learning and evolving. We combine our activity between commercial and personal projects along with teaching courses and workshops regularly at IED Madrid whilst collaborating with other cultural centers and institutions.EDITORIALBandiz works as an independent publisher since 2013, self-publishing zines, photobooks and artists' books. This project emerged as a playground to creation, to submit and develop our own publications and artistic projects in the fields of graphic design, photography, illustration and art. During these past years our works have been exhibited in various international book fairs and museums. One of our artists' books, Vimana Book, has been included in the Metropolitan Museum of Art collection in New York.All editorial projects are designed, edited and produced by Bandiz. Our work process and editorial selections are based on a philosophy that regards the relationships within our environment, publishing projects and objects created in collaboration with close friends as well as with former and current studio members. Our editorial side is the emotional connection that enables us to be more honestly connected to our profession and where we feel the greatest freedom.
