Bandzishe Foundation - An African Institute for LGBTIQ+ Africans, to be Included in the Workplace, in Business, in Leadership and in Society - champions Workplace Inclusion and Equality at the Security Exchange Listed Companies and Major Employers by leading, helping and consulting on the implementation of equitable policies, benefits and practices for LGBTIQ+ workers.Through a proposed African LGBTI Chamber of Commerce, a division of Bandzishe Foundation, we will lobby for the inclusion of LGBTI-owned small and medium-sized enterprises in corporate and government supply chains. ➢ Bandzishe Foundation understands that Workplaces are where a country's population converges and spends most of its time every day. Because of this, we see workplaces as some of the best and strategically positioned places for the eradication of hate, stigmatisation and marginalisation of LGBTIQ+ people.➢ Bandzishe Foundation will strive to transform institutions because institutions have power and influence. We will reach more people and have a greater impact by transforming institutions and by embedding an inclusive and accepting workplace culture.➢ Bandzishe Foundation will work with all organisations, including workplaces, corporates, government departments, institutions, parastatals, schools, healthcare providers, sports clubs, religious institutions, etc. in South Africa and on the African Continent, to ensure they offer inclusive, equal and inspiring environments for lesbian, gay, bi, trans, intersex and queer people.➢ Bandzishe will serve as a centre of knowledge for LGBTIQ+ workplace and business issues. We will equip organisational leaders to shape businesses and workplaces that recognise and harness the talents of LGBTIQ+ Entrepreneurs and LGBTIQ+ employees.➢ Bandzishe will stimulate and facilitate the creation and development of new LGBTIQ+ employee networks, affinity groups, LGBTIQ+ business associations and LGBTIQ+ chambers of commerce.
