BL Update is an online peer-to-peer network for investors in the leveraged loan and distressed debt markets. The Company allows Members access to the following:(i) Find counterparties to privately assign loans in order to mitigate costly broker fees, (ii) Allow co-lenders to come together and discuss credit updates, business updates and, in particular, amendments with their portfolio companies, so as to bring back negotiating leverage against the Sponsors, Borrowers and Investment Banks(iii) Organize steering committees well in advance of a Borrower's defaultThe goal of Bank Loan Update is to bring efficiency and transparency to the leveraged loan and distressed debt credit markets.
