BAP Analytics is an educational consulting firm specializing in ELA standards-based data-driven instruction. Founding members Bill Haltermann and Pam Roberge have a combined total of over 40 years professional experience in identifying student skill deficits and strengths, along with designing instructional strategies and scaffolding to meet the needs of whole class, small group, and individual instruction. For the past seven years Bill and Pam have been working as a team to develop a unique integrated approach to standards-based data driven instruction. Over the past four years Bill and Pam have been involved in developing assessments that addressed students' critical thinking skills not only at grade level, but also below grade level. These assessments are intended as a diagnostic tool to identify the skill gaps that students have developed over time and to target what skills need to be backfilled. Their system assists teachers with understanding the progression and underlying skills of the NYS ELA standards and designing lessons that align with the rigor of the NYS state assessments. This system has empowered teachers to positively impact instruction.
