After training for five years to learn the art of welding & fabrication, & earning her Journeyman in sheet metal & iron plate, Barbie quit her job September 1, 2014 to pursue her greatest passion, metal sculpture. Although Barbie had extensive training from fellow welders & fabricators at the company she worked for, her art is completely self-taught. With her unparalleled sculpture design & artistry Barbie has quickly become a world-renowned metal sculptor & has created sculptures for major corporations like Miller Welders, Carolina Shoe Company, Weiler Abrasives, & Harley Davidson, small businesses, & exclusive clients in fourteen different countries.Her YouTube channel, Barbie The Welder, which is viewed by subscribers in 53 countries, is a wealth of information for artists & entrepreneurs alike. In Barbie's easy-going style she shares step by step videos on how to create a wide variety of metal sculptures & sound entrepreneur advice. Barbie teaches metal art creation through her also written three books on the subject.
