Barcelona Centre Financer Europeu for Sustainability (BCFE4S)BCFE's main objective from its creation in 1991 has been to play a decisive role helping the consolidation of Barcelona and its economic area of influence as a reference's Financial Centre. The productive tissue of the region, base of its economical weight within the whole country, requires professional teams and services constantly updated and being able to take the adequate financial and strategic decisions in each moment to optimize the results of their companies as well as to contribute to the economic relevance of the region. BCFE has been supporting the permanent development and innovation in financial services and its professionals through technical forums and providing direct access to state-of-the-art market experts, academics, researchers and regulators, both at national and international level.The impulse of Sustainable Finance (SF) in accordance to the 2030 Agenda and SDG principles has become a crucial goal for the financial ecosystem in the Barcelona area. It was also the main reason to start the process to join the FC4S Network along 2018, finished with the full membership by the end of that year. On 2019 we have started to develop the mentioned objectives, by creating a top level Steering Committee, a dedicated new initiative inside the association (BCFE4S) by organising large events on relevant SF topics, and by providing impulse to SF initiatives.
