We are a family run business based near Manningtree on the Essex/Suffolk border overlooking the beauty of the River Stour. It was founded in 2017 by soft fruit farmers, Craig and Gail Williamson, after they noticed a gap in the market for quality, farm-pressed fruit juices. We are one of only two Red Tractor approved juice producers in the country and are available in over 200 shops, golf clubs, farm shops, garden centres, cafés and pubs across Essex & Suffolk. We recently won awards for 3 of our varieties from the Great Taste Awards 2019, and also winners in Essex Life Food & Drinks Awards 2019 and the Business Excellence Awards Essex 2019 where we collected three very prestigious awards,Winner - Best Essex ProducerWinner - Greater Anglia Award for Sustainability Winner – Tendering Blue Ribbon Award for Sustainability & EnvironmentBarn Farm Drinks are: • BRC AA Certification Version 7 cats 5, 6 and 7.• Assured Produce/Global Gap Certified• Red Tractor Certified –one of only two drinks companies in the country enabling traceability from field to bottle• Sedex registered and SMETA audited• UK Gov ‘5 a day' labelling• LEAF Marque certified• All year round production as fruit is stored frozen to retain maximum flavour and colour• No added sugar, colours or sweeteners• Not made from concentrate• 18 month shelf life - validated by accelerated shelf life testing by UKAS Lab All of our pressed fruit waste is taken to an Anaerobic Digestion Plant at a nearby farm to be turned into electricity, plus we generate enough electricity for approximately 1400 homes through solar panels we have installed on land that is unsuitable for crops. We also harvest the rainwater from our factory roof to water our crops.The juices are all pressed, blended, pasteurised and bottled at Barn Farm and are made with berries which are either grown directly on the farm, or from other local fruit growers. Each bottle is 100% fruit juice.
