Our veterinary clinic used to be the 'Lads of The Village' public house but was later renamed to 'Thames Barrier Arms', when the Flood Barrier was built in 1982. The building was built c.1880 and has been serving the community ever since.We are located on a Green Chain Walk, providing a useful stopover point while out on a walk, if you want any advice or just to collect something for your pet.The Clinic opened its doors to the public & their pets in November 1997 and we've been looking after our clients and their pets ever since. All of us here are dedicated to the care of dogs, cats, rabbits and a variety of exotic pets. Not only that, but we are a fully equipped veterinary surgery able to provide on-site intensive care and support. We offer the following facilities: - Two fully equipped operating theatres with modern anaesthetic equipment & monitoring devices- Digital veterinary x-ray machine- Spacious secure kenneling and isolation facility- Incubation facilities for small animals and critically ill patients-Dental equipment- In-house laboratory- Ultrasound and endoscopy
