Kenneth Torrance and Katie Sweeting, founders of Barter, believe that if a local community can come together, sharing the knowledge and passion of their individual craft, that the outcome will create social and environmental change. Barter is a company that emerged from creative passion, material exploration, and manufacturing. The practice embraces the relationship between materiality and craft, whilst upholding a design philosophy that supports the equality of our community and forests.
