Barun ICT Research Center researches social phenomena, technology, and policy impacts in IT/ICT environment. This center investigates social phenomena driven by digital divide in order to seek effective measures to bridge the gap; identify psychological causes and problems involved with excessive use of digital technology and devices; and conduct researches to find better ways to protect user privacy and build trust in the IoT environment. We believe our efforts will help resolve challenges in the fourth industrial revolution era. Information and communication technologies offer fast and convenient exchange of information, while people's concerns for information equality, healthy use of information technology, and privacy/data protection are intensified. Our research will deliver socio-cultural values and technological solutions to safe, secure, and sustainable world of ICT. We are actively conducting righteous IT research and holding networking/education events to enlighten our ICT philosophy and values.
